Founded in June 2018, Vigor Biotechnology Institute is situated at Dolly High-tech Industrial Park in Longgang District, Shenzhen. Vigor Biotechnology Institute is a research institute of comprehensive health products, which owns complete supporting facilities, reasonable talent structure and advanced equipment. At present, keeping its eyes on scientific research development and talent cultivation, Vigor Biotechnology Institute has established a long-term project partnership and a scientific research expert committee with many scientific research institutes of university, including South China University of Technology (SCUT), Ningbo University (NBU), Northwest University (NWU) and Guangdong Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention (GDCDC). Besides, the Institute vigorously pursues the construction of a standard, normative and high-quality research institute and strives for the improvement on technological innovation and sustainable, high-level and international development.

The Institute has four sub-institutes and five centers: Nutritional Food Institute, Health Food Institute, Medical Device Institute, Daily Chemical Product Institute, Vigor-NBU Marine Institute Health Food Research Center together with Vigor-SCUT Research Center for Green Food Processing and Nutrition Regulation Engineering Technology, Vigor-NWU Bee Product R & D Center, Vigor-SCUT Health Food Research Center, and Vigor-General Health Research Center on Plateau Special Plant Resources. Its advantageous software and hardware have laid solid foundation for prospective achievements on massive health industry to make a breakthrough on product research and development, technological innovation and improvement.

To build an international scientific research echelon in biotechnology providing guidance on product research and development, technological innovation and improvement, Vigor Biotechnology Institute implements an open and flexible employment mechanism, adopts an internationally compatible management mode, and attracts prominent scholars and young top-notch talents to form an expert committee. The institute currently boasts strong scientific muscles, including 1 Chang Jiang scholars, 2 experts receiving the special government allowance of the State Council, 30 in-service scientific researchers. Among them, there are 6 people with senior titles and 6 people with intermediate titles, and many others that have undertaken or completed scientific research projects at national, provincial and municipal levels.
